Its all about the way you look at things..

There are a lot of times well most of the time where we compare ourselves to others. Well if you are, STOP now! No one is perfect! Except our savior Jesus Christ, and we need to strive to be more and more like him everyday. Just do your best in everything you do and you'll be fine. As long as you put 110% effort into whatever it is you're doing it will all work out for your own benefit.

Here is a wonderful talk from the liahona about Trials in our life. Read here This talk is amazing! and just shows that everything can change if we look at certain situations in our life in a different perspective. We need to look for what we can learn from the trials instead of ask why me? Trials have strengthened me in my life and I have to say that I am thankful for all the trials I have gone through. Ether 12:27!

This gospel makes me so happy! I can't explain it! I am so thankful to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints! It has brought me so much joy!

I know that I am a Child of a Loving Heavenly Father, and that he knows me individually by name. I have such a strong testimony of Prayer and I know that Heavenly Father answers and hears each and every one of our prayers. I know that Jesus died for me, so that I may be able to utilize the atonement and come unto him. I know that we can return to live with our Heavenly Father if we repent and become pure. I know that Family's can be together forever and all throughout eternity. I am so thankful for the wonderful sealing powers of the temple. I know that if we read from the Book of Mormon everyday that we will be blessed. I know that we can become more and more like our Savior Jesus Christ everyday. I know that the words of the prophets are true and that they are the words of God. I know these things to be true, and I say them in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

I wanted to share with you all my testimony and what I believe in and stand for.

Weekends spent Studying!

This is what USUALLY happens when I study.... I end of falling asleep! I get so bored reading my text books..

but NOT this weekend! Things to remember and have while studying.

1. Food.... Check

2.Company.... Check ( pretty much the whole class is coming over to study)

3. Homemade Salsa... Check! 

Its going to be a loooong weekend of nothing BUT studying! 

I have midterms next week and I am going to excel! 

P.s. Just thought I would mention I LOVE the smell of October :)

AZ Rain!

So...probably everyone and their dog posted something on facebook about the rain in Az :) For those of you who don't know Az does not get that much rain :) if any! So when it does rain, unlike in other states we all run outside and have to play in it. So during Radiology today it started POURING!!! And no I do not mean sprinkling... (sometimes when it sprinkles everyone in Arizona thinks its pouring) ha So we stopped during the middle of class and ran outside to see it! Of course everyone had to grab their cameras it was pretty funny :) 

              I hope you are able to see how much it really is raining! 
                              Nothing better than Rain in Az :) 

Ok so this is really really hard to tell and the picture Kinda defeats the purpose but well try it! So it really was pouring behind us trust me! It was so funny that we all had to run outside           (including the teacher) to see the rain outside! 

To say the least we Love rain here in Arizona! 

I love the way it smells! 

I love the cooler Temperatures.

Sisters are the Greatest invention!

I love my sisters so much! 

I love laughing with them.

I Love Joking with them.

I love being Goofy.

I love that I can sit and talk with them for hours!!

I love that I get to be with them for eternity! 

They are my best friends and I am so lucky to have them :)

Priesthood Session! You know what that means?! GNO! :)

 Well you know what happens when priesthood session of Conference starts! Its Girls night out! :) The gray girls and the Mcdowell Girls all went out to Gecko Grill! Only the BEST place to eat ever! Mexican food is my favorite mmm! It was so good to catch up with my Cousin Erika! I love her so much! Not only that, we were all very entertained with Courtney and Erins Concoption and jokes!

And of course Erin and Courtney and their wonderful masterpiece they created with who knows what! I had a wonderful time with all of these girls catching up, laughing and telling Jokes and stories from the past. We all were there for a good amount of time, we kept eating the chips and salsa :) The green sauce and bean dip is to DIE for! We then realized after a long time that there were a bunch of girls waiting to be seated so we decided to leave and go and make some Pazookies!

 We thought our parents would know better to send a bunch of teenager girls  to go and buy cookie dough and Ice cream? Guess not ! ha We got distracted with everything else in the store! For example these wonderful pumpkin shirts! We were just getting ready for Halloween a little bit early! Gotta love em right? 

 Courtney was in love with this cute little puppy! 

 The yummy Pazookies we made! After we were all still stuffed from Gecko Grill! Well its like what they say," There is ALWAYS room for dessert! "

It was so good to be able to spend the evening with my Cousins! I love them all so much! Erika is my favorite and I absolutely love doing things with her! We always have a blast together and have So many fun memories from Gymnastics together when we were little! Thank goodness for Priesthood Session :) For more than one reason.

1. The boys get to go and learn how to be men and worthy priesthood holders.

2. Us girls get to go out and EAT and spend quality time together of Course! :)

Saturday Morning all of these lovely ladies came over and we made an absolutely delicious breakfast! We had fruit growing out of our ears :) It was so yummy! All of these girls were so helpful! 

We ate our hearts out!

We talked and laughed! It was so good to catch up with these girls! I love them all!

 Conference took a while to work on the internet so we just continued eating and eating! Right when it started to work we rushed to put everything away and get our spots on the couch and began to listen to the wonderful words of our church leaders :)

I absolutely LOVE conference and look forward to it every 6 months! Its always something I get really really excited about! The past 3 conferences I have had the wonderful opportunity to go to the Conference Center and watch it live! This year I was able to watch it at home with some lovely friends and my family of course! Conference is a time where I get to hear the wonderful words of The prophet and the other Church leaders speak to us and tell us things that the lord would have us hear and know. We are Extremely blessed to have modern day revelation given to us.

Stephany Gomez Birthday Dinner :)

This is the wonderful birthday girl :) I love Stephany Gomez so much! She is such an amazing friend! I can always count on having a phone call or text from this girl to check up on me and how my week is going! I can't believe that it was over 2 years ago that we clicked in High School. She is so happy and kind and nice to everyone that she comes in contact with. If you do not know her she comes up to you and makes you feel like you have known her your whole life. She is an incredible listener and someone I can talk to for hours. I love her so much and have been blessed to have her in my life. Happy 20th Birthday Stephany!
