Christmas Eve :)

I cant think of a better way to have spent Christmas Eve then going to the Mesa Arizona Temple. We were able to see Jordan Bluth sing songs about Christ and Hymns. It was an absolutely beautiful performance. We were able to walk around and see the Christmas lights, which were absolutely beautiful. Then we went into the visitors center and were able to talk with the sister missionarys. Then we went and watched the movie Luke II. It was a beautiful simple video showing the birth of our savior. It really put into perspective how he really was born in the most humble abodes. It was not some beautiful stable, but a place where animals were, but thats all they had. Mary was just so pure and peaceful. What a wonderful job she had of carrying the savior Jesus Christ. Christ was born to a family in the humblest of circumstances. Born to save us all. I am so thankful for my savior and the atoning sacrifice and that we are able to come closer to him through the healing powers of the atonement. I am so thankful for all that he has done, and for the true meaning of Christmas. And that we are able to celebrate his birth.
                                   **************

After the lights we came home and opened our Christmas Pajamas. To my surprize we got the cutest Footy Pjs ever! I love this family tradition. I love my family. I love this gospel. I love that we are able to serve others and I love this Christmas Season. Merry Christmas Everyone!!

Forgotten Carols!

The Traditional Forgotten Carols! Every 2 years Our families go to see the Forgotten Carols. This play has been going on 19 years and I absolutely love it. For those of you who have not seen it, this is a MUST. It simply brings in the spirit of Christmas, and remembering what it is all about. The celebration of our Saviors Birth, and the atonement and everything that he has done for us. The Forgotten Carols helps us see the Carols that have been forgotten and most of them are of the Saviors life and ministry.I cant help but cry when we all sing the last song " We can be together forever someday". What a lovely time of the year this is to be able to remember our loved ones and to serve others. It reminds me of the Scripture we all know in Mosiah 2:17, which reads, " And behold I will tell you these things that ye may learn wisdom; that ye may learn that when ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your god". We ultimately are serving our savior when we learn to serve others. May you all have a Merry Christmas and remember what it is Truly about :)

Jocelyn and I thought these reindeer were sweet :)
We had so much fun Christmas Caroling :)
I absolutely love love Heidi! Her and I go way back to Freshman year of High School. Good old choir days!
Brother Ray teaching me how to do the "Whip"
 Got the hang of it!

                                                       Look at Jocelyn go!
Heidi's baby Elias! He is such a cute baby and a happy little camper.

It was so much fun to be able to catch up with some of my married friends and see how each of them have progressed in their lives. We all enjoyed caroling down the streets of gilbert in the back of a trailer. We were able to show Ben's Indian friend some of our Christmas traditions because he had never celebrated Christmas before. I am thankful for those meaningful relationships in our lives where we can build each other up and simply enjoy each others company.
I am thankful for this Christmas Season.

Finals week!!!!!

 Almost.......Done......
Gonna rock me some finals :)
